Busy Little Guy

Over the past few weeks Tytus has grown up so much.We took a trip to Dallas for a week at the end of May and he seemed to turn into a different boy while we were there. He went from sleeping a pretty usual 7 hour stretch at night to going 11 hours through the night. He also found his thumb, and started making lots of new sounds by the time we got back home.
This was taken to show Daddy that he'd found his thumb!
We got to spend some time with family and some high school friends as well as take our first road trip (with Uncle Mark, Aunt Lindsay, and Oliver). We really wanted to come see Aunt Amanda and hang out/help her with things while she's getting closer and closer to having her little girl. She'll definitely learn to hold her own in the mix with all these boy cousins.

Randi got to come by to say hi and visit while we were in town.

Tytus loved playing with Granny and felt right at home when she was holding him.

It was a fun adventure away from home, and I think Tytus had fun going some different places and having a new pace to our days for a little while. But it sure was nice to get back home and enjoy a slow pace again. I think he started sleeping in longer stretches in order to perfect his new skills of laughing and playing. Here's what we did once we got back.
He's figuring out how to use his bouncer (even though his feet don't quite touch yet).

He's getting better at holding his head up and soon he'll be scooting around!

Taking it all in

mommy time

We had to take a 3 month picture with Leonard the Lion to show how big Ty is getting!

This one cracks me up because it looks like he's posing with Leonard. They're buds.
